For a long time, sensitive fruits such as avocados, mangoes and kiwis suffered from inconsistent quality, short shelf life and high waste — a systemic challenge broadly accepted in the industry.
The shift came when we discovered an innovative ripening technology capable of replicating fruits’ natural habitat. It quickly proved to be not just an improvement, but a systemic and sustainable transformation.

We chose to invest in the technology and build a completely new workflow based on algorithm-controlled ripening for different fruits. Avocado was our starting point, followed by additional fruit categories. Today our vision is clear: sustainably ripened fruit as the norm in every menu and home.

Softripe™ is a unique, algorithm-driven technology that controls the ripening process of avocados and other fruits in nine precisely managed stages. By regulating the atmosphere in our high-tech ripening chambers, we recreate the same climate as in the fruit’s place of origin. This allows the fruit to ripen naturally and stress-free — resulting in perfect texture, richer flavor and extended shelf life.

Significantly reduced waste

Avocados and other fruits that we ripen have a shelf life that is 12–14 days longer than fruit ripened conventionally. If you store them in the fridge, they last even longer.
